First construction phase will start in April/May 2012.

With signing of construction contract of a new piling wall strengthening of Universalhafen middle berth can begin this year. The whole activities invested into infrastructure will be at an amount of about 15 millions of Euro. Additional development of port superstructure Brunsbüttel Ports GmbH will be well prepared for expected growth of their company. Construction work will be implemented during regular operation service. Pile driving is expected to be finished in late autumn of 2012. The overall project will be continued until 2013.
